Toretsk is a town in Bakhmut Raion, Donetsk, Ukraine. It has a population of about 30,914, an area of 22.6 km², and an elevation of 179 m. It is on Moscow Standard Time. It lies 16 km north-west of Horlivka. Its nearest neighbours are Zalizne (3.9 km), Shcherbynivka (4.2 km), and Pivnichne (4.6 km). It was established in 1806.
