It began with meeting Master Jane on February 8, 2015, in Chongqing.
In China the number 8 means luck, wealth, and prosperity — so three eights became the name.

China's toast culture — raising a glass to friendship and good fortune — became the heart of 888 Lucky Beer.
888 Lucky Beer was born from a friendship and made to be shared. Every bottle is an invitation to sit down, raise a glass, and turn strangers into friends.
Today it's based in Washington, DC — and the plan is to brew it close to where it's enjoyed, through trusted local partners, so it always arrives fresh.
