🌍 The Global Ambassador of Konpa
TimTim.Live is the artist name of Pierre Richard Augustin, the Global Ambassador of Konpa — a Haitian-American musician carrying Konpa to world music, Caribbean, African, jazz, and cultural festivals worldwide. Born in Les Cayes, Haiti, he first traveled through Guadeloupe at twelve on his way to a year in Paris, then built his life in the United States — from New York to Lynn, Massachusetts, and today Washington, DC. His music carries Caribbean roots and a worldwide heart.
TimTim.Live exists to create joyful Konpa music that connects people, celebrates Haiti, and inspires curiosity about the world. Through songs, stories, and cultural experiences, we're building a living TimTim.Live musical journey — one future generations can keep discovering, performing, and sharing.

Born on Haiti's southern coast — where the Caribbean roots and the Konpa heritage begin.
At twelve, the first country he ever set foot in — the first stop on the journey toward Paris.
A year in the French capital, living at 10 Square Henry Paté in the 16th arrondissement.
Attended Abraham Lincoln High School in Brooklyn, then a year at John Bowne High School in Queens.
Graduated from Lynn English High School — and, living at 9 Arlington Street, bought the white guitar that would change everything.
Home today, where TimTim.Live built a life, a career, and — decades later — came back to music.
Konpa is the heart — but the sound is a blend of everywhere TimTim.Live has been.
The Haitian dance music he grew up with.
Bright, rolling guitar lines from across the continent.
The warm, steady pulse of the wider Caribbean.
Decades of life in the United States.
Sounds and genres gathered from around the globe.
Alongside the music, TimTim.Live built a foundation in business and public service.

🎸 The White Guitar
In 1986, fresh out of Lynn English High School and living at 9 Arlington Street in Lynn, Massachusetts, an eighteen-year-old TimTim.Live walked into a music store and fell in love with a white guitar on the wall. He bought it — then life forced him to sell it, and he never forgot it.
For decades, music took a back seat while he built businesses and helped others. But a true passion never dies; it waits. Nearly forty years later, the white guitar found its way back into his hands.
That homecoming became the heart of his “Konpa to the World” journey — proof that it’s never too late to answer the call that’s been living inside you all along.
“Because deep down, we all have a white guitar.”Hear the song, “Gita Blan” →
🍺 China · 2015
In 2015, TimTim.Live spent a month in Chongqing, China, exploring business opportunities. He fell for China's toast culture — the ritual of raising a glass to friendship and good fortune.
On February 8, 2015, he met Master Jane, and a new venture was born: 888 Lucky Beer. In China, the number 8 stands for luck, wealth, and prosperity — so three eights became the name.
A TimTim.Live Global Initiative
The white guitar journey above is now the emotional heart of an annual global celebration — cities around the world connecting through music, tourism, culture, and gratitude.

Built to outlast us
This isn't built to be handed off once and forgotten — it's meant to be carried forward by my kids, my grandchildren, and generations after them, for the next thousand years, whether humanity is still here on Earth or has reached the Moon, Mars, or wherever we migrate to next.
International Week of Gratitude and the global cultural directory aren't separate projects — they're this legacy in motion today, one host city and one host business at a time.

TimTim.Live is the artist name of Pierre Richard Augustin, a Haitian-American Konpa musician based in Washington, DC, known as the Global Ambassador of Konpa, who brings people together through music.
TimTim.Live champions Konpa — the dance music of Haiti — on the world stage, bringing it to world music, Caribbean, African, jazz, and cultural festivals, tourism events, and major city celebrations, introducing the sound to new audiences everywhere.
He was born in Les Cayes, Haiti. As a child he traveled through Guadeloupe on the way to a year in Paris, France, then settled in the United States — New York, Lynn (Massachusetts), and today Washington, DC.
He attended Abraham Lincoln High School in Brooklyn and John Bowne High School in Queens, New York, and graduated from Lynn English High School in Lynn, Massachusetts.
He studied at North Shore Community College, earned a bachelor's degree from Salem State University, a Master of Public Administration from Suffolk University (in 12 months), and an MBA from the University of Massachusetts Lowell (in 12 months).
Konpa rooted in his Caribbean heritage from Haiti, influenced by African guitar and reggae, shaped by the American experience, and inspired by a worldwide audience.
It's about a white guitar he sold at eighteen and found again nearly forty years later — a story of a dream delayed but never abandoned.
During a month in Chongqing, China in 2015, TimTim.Live was inspired by China's toast culture and met Master Jane on February 8, 2015. In China the number 8 means luck, wealth, and prosperity — so the brand became 888 Lucky Beer.
In 2024 he founded a non-profit built around three missions everyone can help build together: Build Hope, helping more families find a place to call home; Preserve Humanity Through Music, a 1,000-year musical time capsule preserving the TimTim.Live Konpa collection; and Inspire the Next Generation of Explorers, making space exploration accessible beyond billionaires.
TimTim.Live plays a different game. Spotify helps you listen to more songs; TimTim.Live helps you meet more people. Facebook connects you with friends you already know; TimTim.Live helps you discover friends you've never met. TikTok is short videos; TimTim.Live is discovering another culture in 60 seconds. Every song is a gift meant to introduce one new culture to one new person.
