TimTim.Live records 40 artists from Italy whose town nobody wrote down. Every one has a page, and any of them can claim it and say where they are from.

We are building a map of where music comes from. For these 40 artists the public records say Italy and stop there — the country is recorded, the town is not, and we will not guess it.

Guessing is the part worth explaining. We could infer a hometown from a genre, a language, or the country that issued someone's passport, and every one of those would be wrong often enough to matter. A birthplace is a fact about a person. If we do not have it, the honest thing is to say so and ask.

Across the whole platform 11,965 artists have no recorded place at all, and these 40 are a step better off: we know the country. If one of them is you, your page is one click away and a hometown takes a minute to add.
