TimTim.Live Developer Preview
Documentation
Short pages, plain words. Start at the top if you are new.
Words you'll see
- API
- A way for your program to ask TimTim.Live a question, like “events in Miami?”, and get an answer.
- Endpoint
- One door of the API, with its own address, like /v1/events.
- JSON
- A tidy text format for lists and details that computers read easily. The API answers in JSON.
- Key
- Like a library card: it tells TimTim.Live who is asking. Test keys show pretend events only.
- Sandbox
- A practice area with pretend events and pretend money, so you can try everything safely.
- SDK
- Ready-made code you add to your project, so you write less of your own.
- Webhook
- A message TimTim.Live sends to your server when something changes, so you do not have to keep asking.
- Signature
- A seal on each webhook, made with a secret only you and TimTim.Live know. Check it before you trust the message.
- Rate limit
- How many questions a key may ask in one minute. Ask too fast and you are told to wait.
- OAuth
- A way for big companies to swap a name and a password for a pass that works for one hour.
- Error answer
- When something goes wrong, the answer says what happened and what to do next, with an id to send us.
- Cursor
- A bookmark for long lists. Send back the “next” value you got to see the next page.
- Buy link
- The ticket link for an event. It counts the sale for you, so pass it on unchanged.
- MCP
- A plug that lets AI assistants, like Claude, ask TimTim.Live for events.
