আর এর ফলে পুরো ক্যামেরুন জুড়ে চলছে। প্রতিটি কাঠের চাবির উপরে বসে থাকে শাবালপাকির উপর, যা তার উষ্ণ স্বর- ক্যামেরুনের ঐতিহ্যবাহী সঙ্গীতের মধ্যে দিয়ে বয়ে যায়, যা কিনা মোভে এবং টাম-টামের মতো।

কিন্তু প্রত্যেক চাবি নিজেদের কল্লাবাম্বার রিসনেটরের সাথে সংযুক্ত করা হয়েছে। একটি শপিং মলের চাবি দিয়ে শব্দ পাঠানো হয়, যা কিনা এর নিচে চিতাবাঘের মধ্য দিয়ে বয়ে যায়।
ক্যামেরুনে বুয়ালফোনের মত যন্ত্রসংগীতের সাথে বসেন (বাটি গল্পকার), তাম-তাম ড্রাম, এবং সানজা আঙ্গুলের পিয়ানো বাজানো, যা দেশটির ঐতিহ্যবাহী সঙ্গীত বহন করে থাকে।
বালাফন বাজানো প্রায়ই একটা দলগত কার্যক্রম — বিভিন্ন যন্ত্রে একাধিক খেলোয়াড় একে অন্যের সঙ্গে মিলে কাজ করে, একে অপরকে একত্রিত করে এমন এক রেখা তৈরি করে, যা গান গাওয়া, গল্প বলা এবং নাচকে সমর্থন করে ।
