E Biahe Blanku di Guitar
Un mensahe di Pierre-Richard Augustin
Mi a nase na Le Cayes, Haiti, i a yega Merka na edat di diesdos aña, i mi bida a ser influensiá dor di hende, lugá, kultura i oportunidat rònt mundu.
Haiti a duna mi mi rais. América a yuda forma mi futuro. I durante henter mi biahe, mundu a duna mi amistad, oportunidad, les, recuerdo i soñonan cu ta sigui influenciá ken mi ta awe.
Mediante e desaroyo internashonal di gratitut, mi kier bai bèk na e komunidatnan i hendenan ku a haña kapítulonan signifikativo den e biahe ei pa no pidi nada, sino simplemente pa duna algu bèk.
Cu mi firma White Guitar i e música di TimTim.Live Konpa, mi ta spera di bishitá e lugánan aki cu un mensahe simpel:
Danki.
Danki p'e oportunidadnan.
Danki pa boso amistatnan.
Danki pa e lèsnan.
Danki pa ta parti dje biahe.
Pero e vision ta extendé hopi mas leu cu mi relato personal.
Tur aña mi speransa ta pa un grupo di hende ta bira mas fuerte pa aña, segun ku stat, komunidat, negoshi, famia i hende individual ta para un ratu pa rekonosé e hendenan ku a yuda forma nan historia.
Loke ta kuminsá segun ku un persona ta hasi e biahe di gratitut por bira un movementu mundial ku ta rekordá nos ku tras di tur logro, tur oportunidat i kada soño ku kumpli, tin hende ku a habri porta, ofresé animashon, kompartí konosementu òf simplemente a kere den un persona.
Un siman. Miles di stad. Miyones di historia. Un mensahe universal: Danki.
“I left searching for opportunity. I return carrying a White Guitar, TimTim.Live Konpa, and a heart full of gratitude.”

Pregunta & Contesta
Is this a Haitian cultural movement?+
No. It's not a Haitian movement, an American movement, or a movement belonging to any single nation or culture. It begins as one person saying thank you — to Haiti, to America, and to every place that welcomed him along the way. See the Founding Principle for the full statement.
Is it political or religious?+
No. International Week of Gratitude is intentionally non-political, non-partisan, and non-religious in its governance. It's open to all nationalities, cultures, faiths, and backgrounds.
Is a city on this page confirmed as a host?+
Not unless it's marked "Confirmed Host." Every other status — Proposed, Invited, In Discussion, Provisional — means exactly that: a location we're exploring, not a signed agreement.
Kico ta White Guitar?+
The White Guitar is the emotional symbol of the founder's story — bought at about eighteen with a dream of forming a band, sold years later, and now returning as the centerpiece of the closing concert in every host city.
Can my city apply to host a future edition?+
Yes — see "Host a Gratitude Week." Mayor's offices, tourism boards, chambers of commerce, universities, museums, hotel associations, and local producers can all start an application.
How are sponsors and partners involved?+
Through the Partners & Sponsors program. No sponsor logo or partner name is shown publicly until a signed agreement is in place.
Can I donate or invest?+
Community support and partnership inquiries are welcome through Contact. Any future investment opportunity would be offered only through appropriate legal documentation and in compliance with applicable securities laws — nothing on this site is an offer to sell or a solicitation to purchase any security.
International Week of Gratitude is currently in development. Proposed host locations, venues, dates, governments, sponsors, artists, programs, and partners are subject to confirmation, contract, permits, financing, insurance, and applicable local laws. A location shown on this page is not a confirmed host unless specifically marked "Confirmed Host." References to companies, institutions, and government entities do not imply endorsement unless expressly stated.
