Is this a Haitian cultural movement, an American one, or an 888 Lucky Beer campaign?+
None of those. It's not a movement belonging to any single nation, ethnicity, religion, or commercial brand. It begins as one person going back through the journey of his life to say thank you — to Haiti, whose heritage and music shaped him, and equally to America, which raised him, educated him, gave him his career, and made the journey possible in the first place. No. It is intentionally non-political and non-partisan.
Is it religious?+
No, its governance is non-religious and it's open to all faiths and backgrounds.
Who owns it?+
TimTim.Live Global / TimTim.Live Entertainment, the commercial entertainment and event-production platform behind the initiative.
Is it a nonprofit?+
It has both a nonprofit and a commercial side, kept deliberately separate. The nonprofit supports qualifying community, education, and cultural-preservation work; TimTim.Live Entertainment handles concert production, sponsorship, and commercial operations. Funds are never commingled between the two.
Does TimTim.Live attend every city?+
Not necessarily. The White Guitar Concert can happen with or without Pierre physically present, through Certified DJs, licensed local artists, official recordings, or founder video.

What is Konpa?+
Konpa is Haiti's dance music. TimTim.Live Konpa carries that heritage while reflecting an American education and influences gathered from around the world.
Can local artists participate?+
Yes — every host city's program is designed to feature local bands, artists, dancers, and cultural performers alongside TimTim.Live Konpa.
Can a city apply?+
Yes. See Host a Gratitude Week — mayor's offices, tourism boards, chambers of commerce, universities, museums, hotel associations, and event producers can all start an application.
Who pays?+
Funding is a mix of local host-city budgets, partnerships/sponsorships, and grant funding depending on the location — no city is announced until its funding, legal, and insurance requirements are satisfied.
Can the event be free?+
Many parts of a Gratitude Week (civic welcome, community programming) are designed to be free or low-cost; specific ticketing decisions are made locally by each host city.
Can it be ticketed?+
Some events, particularly the White Guitar Concert, may be ticketed depending on the venue and host city's plan.
How do sponsors participate?+
Through the Partners & Sponsors program. No sponsor logo or name is shown publicly until a signed agreement is in place.
How do airlines/hotels participate?+

How does the nonprofit participate?+
The nonprofit side can support qualifying youth music education, scholarships, community service, cultural preservation, and educational programming tied to a Gratitude Week.
Can I donate?+
Community support inquiries are welcome through Contact. Any donation page will clearly state the nonprofit's legal name, tax status, and whether a gift is tax-deductible before you give.
Can I invest?+
Not yet. Any future investment opportunity would be offered only through appropriate legal documentation and in compliance with applicable securities laws — nothing on this site is currently an offer to sell or a solicitation to purchase any security.
How do grants work?+
Grant and foundation funding, where pursued, supports the nonprofit side's qualifying programs (arts & culture, youth, cultural preservation, education) — this is an internal process, not a public application at this time.
Who handles permits?+
Each host city's local producer, working with the local host committee, handles permits under that city's laws.
Who handles security?+
Local production and public-safety planning are handled locally, with public-safety capacity and a backup plan required as part of every host-city application.

A qualified local producer manages venue, permits, vendors, staff, security, and logistics — TimTim.Live Global provides the brand, music, program structure, and global support.
How are cities confirmed?+
Through a real workflow — expression of interest, feasibility, budget, legal review, insurance review, and funding review — before any "Confirmed Host" announcement. See the status badges on each location's page.
How is money protected?+
No city moves forward until financing, contracting, safety, and insurance requirements are satisfied. Nonprofit and commercial funds are never commingled.
What happens if an event is cancelled?+
Cancellation, postponement, and related risk are exactly why insurance and contracting requirements exist before any public announcement — details are handled per host-city agreement.
