Hip hop
Rhymes over beats, born in the Bronx
Hip hop on muusikažanr, mis algas Bronxis, New Yorgis, 1970ndatel, Aafrika-Ameerika ja Latiino kogukondades. See põhineb rütmilisel, riimival kõnel, mida nimetatakse räppimiseks, DJ või produtsendi rütmetel.

Origin & history
Hip hop began at block parties in the Bronx in the 1970s, where DJs played the drum breaks of records for dancers and MCs rhymed over them.
From New York it spread across the United States and around the world, and today it is made in many languages and local styles.
